Stapelstein® Family Yoga – new at the POST Family Resort
When days are packed with schedules and to-dos, there’s little room for closeness, play, and real togetherness. Stapelstein® Family Yoga is our gentle anchor for busy families: playful movement, conscious breathing, and small rituals that connect you – on vacation and back home.
Why Family Yoga with Stapelstein®?
Easy to start: Barefoot, no mat required – Stapelstein® elements and the Stapelstein® Mat add height, balance, and clear structure.
Holistic & creative: Body awareness, coordination, focus – wrapped in stories and games.
Together, not separate: Parents and kids practice side by side. It’s not about perfect poses; it’s about giggles, closeness, and trust.
Portable: 10–15 minutes are enough – repeat the flows at home.
Mindset: small, kind steps. One breath at a time. Less pressure, more presence.

Who is it for?
0–12 months: Bonding and gentle mobility (parents hold/support).
1–3 years: Simple balance, color/shape tasks, tiny breath games.
4–6 years: Mini flows, animal poses, rhythm & coordination.
7–10 years: Balance challenges, partner poses, light focus work.
Note: This is not medical advice. Choose a safe surface, scale intensity, and always supervise children.
The POST Mini Flow (10–12 minutes) – try it anywhere
1) Wake the Sun
Goal: Posture & breath.
Do: Stand on the stone, arms up, rise to tiptoes, inhale. Exhale, lower arms. Repeat 3×.
2) Greet the Ground
Goal: Back mobilization.
Do: Hands to the stone, soft forward fold, knees relaxed. 3 breaths. Kids “tickle” the stone with fingertips.
3) Sprinter & Bear Strength
Goal: Stability & core.
Do: One foot steps back (sprinter), hands on stone. Then both feet back into a gentle plank (parents spot). 2 rounds.
4) Wave & Mountain
Goal: Mobility/balance.
Do: Hands on stone – gentle cow/cat “wave.” Then Downward Dog with hands on the stone; kids count toe taps.
5) Color Journey
Goal: Coordination & focus.
Do: Lay out 3–5 stones. Tasks: “Go to blue island,” “balance backwards,” “sit still and take 3 breaths.”
Cool-down: Gratitude Round
Sit/lie on the stone, 3 slow breaths. Each shares one thing they’re grateful for today
Small rituals, big impact
Breath Button: Hand on heart, 3 deep breaths (morning/evening).
Color Check-in: “Which color do you feel right now?” – point to a stone, name the feeling.
Senses Minute: Eat one strawberry slowly, eyes closed – notice taste and texture.
Switch Hand: Brush teeth or open doors with the “other” hand – micro-mindfulness in daily life.
FAQs
Do we need yoga experience?
No. The stones give structure; you’ll ease into it playfully.
How often should we practice?
2–4× per week for 10–15 minutes is enough. Consistency beats intensity.
From what age?
Passive participation from baby age (bonding/observing); active practice usually from 12–18 months.
What if my child “won’t join”?
Slow down, change the task, keep it playful. The goal is connection, not perfection.
In short: Stapelstein® Family Yoga makes quality time easy – movement, breath, and smart little rituals. Try it with us at POST, take the ideas home, and fill your week with good moments.
